APCOW

APCOW (Asia-Pacific Conference on Offshore Wind) is the first academic conference in Asia led by academia. It is organized on the foundation of Kyushu University’s long-standing research network on wind power generation, developed in collaboration with universities across Asia—including China, Taiwan, and South Korea—as well as institutions in Europe and the United States.

The conference, held from November 25 to 27, 2024, brought together approximately 200 researchers, experts, and industry representatives from around the world, particularly from Asia, to engage in active discussions on the latest developments and solutions to challenges in offshore wind technology.
Moving forward, the conference will continue to be held regularly, with the host country rotating among participating nations.
