On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, a delegation of eleven visitors from Wales came to Kyushu University to exchange views with our Center.

The visit began with a presentation on the latest initiatives in the field of green energy in Wales, followed by an explanation of the current activities and future research strategies of the Research and Education Center for Offshore Wind. This facilitated a deeper mutual understanding of the initiatives on both sides.
The possibilities for collaboration with universities and companies in Wales were also discussed, and active exchanges of opinions were held between the Welsh delegation and researchers at our Center toward future technical cooperation.
