From November 25 to 27, 2024, the Research and Education Center for Offshore Wind (RECOW) hosted the “1st Asia-Pacific Conference on Offshore Wind Technology (APCOW 2024)” at the Kyushu University Nishijin Plaza. The conference brought together approximately 200 researchers, experts, and industry representatives from across Asia and other regions of the world, providing a valuable forum for in-depth discussions on the latest trends in offshore wind technology and approaches to addressing key challenges.

During the conference, keynote lectures, poster sessions, and technical presentation sessions were held, offering participants opportunities to share knowledge and build new professional networks.

Thanks to the strong support of all involved, the conference concluded with great success despite being held for the first time, and it became an important opportunity to take a new step forward in the advancement of offshore wind power technology.
