2025年11月28日、「Kyushu University Offshore Wind Asia Advisory Board」準備会合を開催しました。

　本会議には、中国・韓国・台湾の研究者を招き、アジア太平洋地域における洋上風力研究と教育連携の将来像について意見交換を行いました。　九州大学からは谷本センター長をはじめ、RECOW所属教員が参加し、対面およびオンラインのハイブリッド形式で実施されました。

　会議では、Advisory Boardの役割や運営方針が共有され、研究戦略・教育プログラム・国際連携・産学協働に関する中長期的な方向性について、 多くの提案が各国より寄せられました。
　今後もRECOWは、アジア太平洋主要国との連携を通じ、教育プログラムの具体化と人材育成体制の強化を進め、本学がアジアにおける洋上風力研究・教育基盤の中心として貢献していくことを確認し、会議を締めくくりました。

On November 28, 2025, Kyushu University held a preparatory meeting for the “Kyushu University Offshore Wind Asia Advisory Board.”

The meeting brought together researchers from China, Korea, and Taiwan to exchange views on the future of offshore wind research and educational collaboration in the Asia–Pacific region. From Kyushu University, RECOW Director Prof. Tanimoto and faculty members of the Offshore Wind Research and Education Center (RECOW) took part, and the meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, combining an in-person venue with online participation.

During the meeting, the role and operational policies of the Advisory Board were shared, and numerous proposals were made regarding the medium- to long-term direction of research strategies, educational programs, international collaboration, and industry–academia partnerships.

Through this meeting, RECOW reaffirmed its commitment to working with key countries in the Asia–Pacific region to further develop educational programs and strengthen human resource development, and to helping establish Kyushu University as a central hub for offshore wind research and education in Asia.
